1. Bachelor Degree in related field
2. Minimum 3 ? 5 years in similar position
3. Strong administrative skills, along with excellent communication and negotiation skills
4. Excellent understanding of the hotel and catering industry.
5. Knowledge of food & beverages
6. Thorough knowledge of banquet procedures & systems.
7. Proficiency in English and computer literate
8. Good health, mature and pleasant personality and neat appearance
1. To assist Operation diretor in supervising the functions and assisting in regard of cost controlling, maintaining and improving standards of the food and beverage products of yield maximum profit and guest satisfaction.
2. To perform any other duties set by hotel policies, management or his/her direct supervisor which are not included here above.
3. Supervise of the basic day to day operation of the Admin.
4. General office work, filing, record keeping, typing and translation of correspondence.
5. Correct the event orders.
6. Closely cooperate with other departments concerning event order.
7. Recognize every details of event order in the absence of Event Co-coordinator.
8. Adjust the performance of work to correspond with the occurred events.
9. Inform the Banquet Manager about the internal memo.
10. Supervising Event Co. staff in planning and executing banquet functions, promotions and other special events.
11. Follow up training programme and trains Event Co. staff continuously and attend training as assigned.
12. Supervises the banquet staff to perform all work in accordance with established Banquet policies and procedures.
13. To ensure the accurate and useful information are transmitted to all concerned.
14. To check daily the function preparation, laying of tables, cleanliness of chinaware, cutlery and glasses.
15. Periodically checked equipments, function rooms to maintain in good condition and ready to use.
16. To accept guest complaints, be a good listener, solve such complaints in the most diplomatic manner and report to the management.
17. Must know the banquet equipment available in the hotel as well as AV equipments.
18. In charge of Convention and Exhibition work, and coordinate with Sales Dept. and the others.
19. Ensure safety standard and appearances are maintain.
20. Ensure that Event Co. acknowledge on 10 days activity, follow up and complete the event order.
21. Conduct weekly event order meeting when Banquet Manager is absented.
22. Assigned Event Co. to work with each Sales person.
23. To perform all duties assigned to, efficiently, technically correct, follow the management policy, house rules and regulations, orders of supervisors, adhere to procedures of the training manual and achieving a high standard leading to total guest satisfaction.
